Default Ikea Kallax

Anyone got/use anything from the Ikea Kallax collection?

I badly needed more storage for my bedroom for things like underwear and the mountains of toiletries we have that just never seem to fit into the storage we already have (Stuart is as bad as me tbh)

Anyway, I went to ikea today decided to go for the 4x4 Kallax unit, I'm going to customise it with led down lights and storage boxes in the colours that tie in with my decor, plus the normal white inserts. Can't wait til my rooms decorated now so I can get using it.

Anyone use any of the series around your house?

I can't wait to start using it Ammi, I think I'm more interested in how much different inserts you have to choose from

And yes they had quite a lot of Christmas stuff out in our store, they have some lovely bits and bobs and I could spend all day just looking at them all

I love buying different products from Ikea and then putting them together to create my own little solutions.

My bedroom is an awkward shape so I basically designed my own wardrobe from their parts.

Have you seen the amount of 'Ikea Hacks' on the internet, especially pinterest? I end up spending hours looking through them.

I love mine and yeah I like that you don't need to use up all the cubby holes and can keep some as shelves etc

I have 2 of the cupboard add ons, I'm only buying another 2 of those and then using storage boxes in the rest (and leaving some as shelves)

the 4x4 is only about Ł100 (I got mine on sale for Ł79) and then you buy the addons you want separately, the cupboard add ons are Ł9, the drawers are Ł17 and then the storage boxes are only Ł3.50!

You can also buy the unit that has addons already with it for around Ł150 I think..
