I think Gaga's problem is actually over-enunciating. It makes some of her lines appear forced, other than that she's quite good.

I thought this was probably the worst episode so far.

Tristan's death was pointless and that made his whole storyline pointless in turn. The whole affair storyline felt like it came out of nowehere and the only reason it existed was to give him an exit. It was shoddy.

I think John's breakdown was rushed as well. It didn't feel like a natural part of his arc.

I do hope they do something with Will and Donovan soon as they're just there atm, Will's just a pitiful excuse for a plot device and Donovan's only purpose is to look pretty it seems.

I did like the whole Bartholomew storyline although I wish we didn't actually see him at the end, it was far creepier to imagine what he looked like then it was seeing him and I thought his POV scenes were very tense and effective, any future scenes he's in won't have the same effect now.

I thought Tristan was turned? So him being killed surprised me. Or is she able to take his immortality away from him?

in AHS, Vampires don't age but they're can still be killed as easily as a normal human....I think.

Gaga's character has described the vampire thing as a 'virus' several times. So you're still alive and can die, but the 'virus' prevents ageing and gives you the need to feed on fresh blood in order to survive. Basically biological immortality with a vampire twist.

Didn't The Countess say a few episodes ago something along the lines of 'you will be immortal if you are careful'?

I kind of wish they kept more towards the traditional vampire themes, and made it darker a bit like True Blood.

Vampires are overused in film/TV so it's good they haven't done it strictly in a similar way as stuff like that.

I thought this weeks episode was great, gags looked amazing and it was nice to see her showing a different emotion aside from ruthless bitch I really wanted Ramona to kill bartholemew though, it would have been great to see her have a meltdown, loved the MH connection too
