I'm A Celebrity's ratings dipped 400,000 viewers overnight following Lady C's shock departure from the jungle.


Fans of the show have been split over whether or not Lady C made for great or terrible viewing but the ratings would tend to suggest that her quitting has had little impact.

Lady C's exit on the Wednesday was seen by 8.3 million viewers (including those on ITV+1) compared to the 7.9 million who tuned in to last night's latest show.

The number is also slightly down on the previous two Thursday nights but only by 300,000 viewers, and of course those shows were shorter with no live evictions.

However it's well up on what Tuesday's show got earlier on in the week by some 500,000 viewers, suggesting there's been no real change since Lady's decision to quit.

Over on ITV2 and spin-off show Get Me Out Of Here Now! was watched by an audience of 600,000 viewers last night.

I'm A Celebrity continues tonight on ITV at the slightly later time of 9PM with hosts Ant and Dec.

The current series concludes with its final on Sunday night as the new King or Queen of the jungle is crowned.
