Default PM : Treat Prisoners as assets, not liabilities

Micheal Gove's Master Plan
who went to Texas USA

[The move could allow more non-violent prisoners to be released into
the community towards the end of their sentence,
in particular women with young children.]

There is a Positive in this.
Getting them away from the University Of Crime. (Prisons)

Some Ex Prisoners
are working in a Cafe in London.

The Ch5HD Wright Stuff
have said they will debate it tomorrow Live.

I agree with David Cameron the prison service needs a massive overhaul.

Not just as to Women pregnant or with Babies in prison but across the board.
Michael Gove has good ideas and seems far more compromising as to the Justice system and that is good to see and hope for from any govt.

There are,in my view, far too many people in prison who really should not be,it costs the taxpayer a lot to keep people in prison and in my opinion, prison should be for only the worst sort of offences.

For example, anything that involves damage to property and for anything where violence has been used.
For those who have committed financial crimes and even smaller ones of any nature, for me it is bonkers to lock them up, make them do some work for those offended and/or pay back the appropriate funds instantly or over time.

Only if they refuse or do not comply with that should prison be used as a last resort on such offenders.

Open up the prisons to those who commit sexual abuse, murders, violence against others and wilful damage to others property.
Thereby easing pressure on prison staff by avoiding overcrowding in prisons too.

This is a start from the PM and Justice secretary,a brave and good one for any govt. but particularly from a Conservative govt, which I hope one day gets extended more to the picture I would like to see as outlined above.

High time we had ourselves a hanging (yes I stole that line of Bufford 'mad dog' Tannan)

Put down the monsters, that'll save a bob or two and make a bit of space.
