Carole has told Gerry that she thinks the wrong person won last night's talent show.

The pair were chatting in the living area this afternoon when they began analysing the housemates' performances in the task.

Chanelle won the show after playing part of Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' on her violin, despite earlier refusals to take part because she was scared to perform on television.

Carole commented: "Very sadly, very sadly, I think the winner last night didn't get the trophy," going on to add: "And the winner for me was Brian. He learned it, he improvised it, he was bloody brilliant."

Chomping on a bowl of cereal, a diplomatic Gerry mused: "It was for different reasons, different reasons...everybody was a winner."

He then attempted to put the tensions during the task into some kind of perspective, saying: "Anyway, it was just a chipped cup really....To be sincere, if I had the choice, the winner would've been you. [Your performance] was like comedy, pure comedy."

But Carole dismissed the compliment, arguing that she had not deserved to win because people had already done "so many funny things" in the house.

She insisted: "Brian was by far the best. Brian went out there and put his heart and soul in."
