Default Does have a visual signature make you feel a more legit member?
I don't have one at the moment but thinking of getting one as I feel it might be like a tattoo. Where you keep looking at it for a while and thinking 'cool' but then after a while you forget it's there.

Do you recommend one if you have one?

Don't use [sigpic] just use [IMG ] your pic url here [ /IMG ] without the spaces

To me it just screams attention seeker.

And I think it is inconsiderate to other forum members who have to scroll through all these huge gifs just to get to the posts.

Yeah like Ross said there's an option in your cp to turn off sigs. The majority of our members enjoy having them

I've been attempting to get one but I don't seem to be able to?

I'm guessing it has to be done on a computer/laptop rather than a phone
