Too many people confuse loud for entertaining. Marco is not entertaining, he's self absorbed and he makes everything about him while forcing more interesting characters into the background. The series will be better off without him.

If the others were truly interesting they wouldn't be forced into the background.

BB likes to focus on certain storylines and they push them at the cost of other housemates. Marco gets them attention so they're gonna air everything to do with him. Some of the housemates we consider 'boring' may very well be (and often are, according to the other HMs that lived with 'boring' HMs in the past) more interesting then we're led to believe.

Unless you have a rivalry with an Other, a showmance or some preplanned drama then you aren't likely to shine in the first few weeks. You got to whittle away all that crap first and let the true characters develop.

this! I mean Ashley was considered a bore in the first few weeks of bb15 but after people like toya and Pauline had gone (as much as I loved them) she shone and became one of the best housemates of the series. While people like Danielle who were big figures in the first few weeks kind of faded into the background.

Ashleigh only became relevant because of Helen's presence though. If Helen had been evicted first like Marco will be you can't say for sure she would have still have had the same impact.

I feel like you need a mix of big characters in there that force the smaller character to step up rather than removing the big charcters straight away so we can have a repeat of BB9's happy house.
