Default All hail jeremy corbyn purveyor of the truth

There is a wonderful scene in a very funny old Bob Hope WW2 movie in which he is captured by the Germans- I cannot remember the title - and is made to broadcast Nazi propaganda under duress.

Hope ends the B.S. broadcast by saying;

"Tell it to the Army, tell it to the Air Force, but most of all - 'Tell it to the Marines'.

'Tell it to the Marines' is a scornful phrase which implies that only the dumb and naive will believe B.S. and 'tall tales' (The Marines will believe your Bullshot but nobody else will).

Well Jeremy Corbyn; a politician who has been captured by the prerequisites of his accepting the pro-EU Labour Party leadership has been forced under duress to support the 'Remain' cause - a cause he FERVENTLY and very OBVIOUSLY does NOT believe in.

The man may have been forced to prostitute his principles - 'Quid Pro Quo - in grudgingly and 'half-hearted' fashion, but he has had his sweet moment of revenge when he stated that 'Remaining in the EU MEANT there could BE NO UPPER LIMIT ON THE NUMBERS OF IMMIGRANTS FLOODING INTO THIS COUNTRY'.

In one fell swoop, Corbyn has repaid his 'Remain' 'Puppet Masters' by throwing them 'under the bus' and siging off ALL his enforced 'pro-EU' posturing with;

"Tell It To The Marines".

I have said it many times and say it again, those voting in this referendum as to cutting immigration from the EU Nations, will be sorely and rightly massively disappointed if they win the day and we leave.

As I have even less doubt now that the UK negotiating team will in the end have to accept a great part, or all, of the free movement rule to get any sort of lucrative trading deal with the EU,

The only immigration we can and still would be able to control if we leave, would be from outside the EU, and we have not chosen to do do, since that is even higher than migration from the EU Nations.
It is time immigrants were stopped being got at in this campaign, it has been shocking and degrading to watch and hear as to decency.

I am a citizen of the United Kingdom and a member of TIBB who passionately and genuinely supports BREXIT - I am NOT the OFFICIAL BREXIT ORGANISATION, just a member on here posting my opinion.

An opinion, I might add, which is not borne of ANY fixed political party membership or ideologies.

'Histrionics'?

My opinion is BASED UPON FACTS and my posts are merely RELATING THOSE FACTS.

My views though, are CONSISTENT - unlike those confused people in the UK who PURPORT to lean to the LEFT and support the 'common people' - the working classes - yet campaign for the anti-Democratic, anti-Working Class, Federalist, Multi-National Corporate EU.

Corbyn has SQUIRMED in his enforced B.S. Pro-EU role thus far, and to his immense credit, he is losing his personal battle to continue suppressing the truth.

Well said joey, there are no assurances regarding free movement tied to trade from inside or outside the EU should we leave are there?...

I almost want Brexit to happen, just for the giggles when anti-migration out voters are left boo-hooing when there is absolutely zero corresponding drop in migration levels

[edit] Unless, of course, the country is left so economically ****ed that no one actually wants to come here any more? That would be a "win" for the anti-migration folks... I guess...

Of course they'll want to come, but instead of Europeans it will be BRIC countries with free movement, that'll be fun...

'Human rights,...What are those?' ' Oh don't worry just some long dead cute old English custom' :/

The 'Remain' supporters in this country have me crying - with laughter.

They IGNORE the 42 hours of history which ABSOLUTELY attests that the EU is a failed and still progressively failing institution.

They IGNORE the FACTS and FIGURES which IRREFUTABLY attest that we have PAID OUT TO THIS CORRUPT organisation HALF A TRILLION POUNDS in total for NOTHING in return.

They IGNORE the fact that this TINY COUNTRY is an ISLAND with LIMITED room for UNLIMITED numbers of 'immigrants'.

They IGNORE the fact that our NHS, POLICE, AMBULANCE, FIRE SERVICES, SOCIAL SERVICES, BENEFITS SYSTEMS, EDUCATION, and HOUSING are ALL AT BREAKING LEVELS.

This country is in the SHET because of the EU, and it is NOT the fault of anyone in the 'LEAVE'camp that those in the 'REMAIN' camp 'CANNOT SEE THE EFFLUENT IN THE ROOM'.

I'm not a "remain" supporter at this point TBQFH, I have come to terms with the fact that the country is damned either way. This puts me in the carefree position of being able to find scraps of merriment and laughter in the bull****, hysterically inflated claims of both sides .

The world is "in the shet" and it has little to do with the EU, or rather, if it wasn't the EU it would simply be something else because the simple fact is... it's not just Britain that's over-crowded, it's the whole damned planet. As a species we simply don't have the creativity or ability to comfortably support a global population that has more than trebled since the end of the second world war, and almost doubled since 1975.

It simply does not work. Not any of it.

The reason there is no money for the NHS, schools or housing is not immigrants or austerity... it's war.

OK:

Here's why the UK CANNOT accomodate UNLIMITED numbers of IMMIGRANTS:

1 x 1 is 1.
2 x 1 is 2.
3 x 1 is 3.

Fed up of simple maths?

OK.

Let's try a simple game:

1. CLEAR your coffee table.
2. Lie down on it.
3. Invite all your family and neighbours to scramble on - all lying one on top of each other until TWO things happen:

a) The coffee table COLLAPSES under the accumulated weight and untenable stress upon its structural capabilities.

and;

b) Those at the bottom of the pile - those who were there 'FIRST' - are suffocated and SUFFER as a result of the UNCONTROLLED and frankly STUPID OVERLOADING.

Good game isn't it?

It's a hilariously oversimplified game, that's for sure. It relies on the premise that the country be overwhelmingly and unshakably attractive in terms of immigration. If you are correct, and the country is worsened BY immigration, then it stands to reason that the more people migrate here, the less attractive it will be to other migrants, until a quick equilibrium is reached (as many leaving as arriving, a net migration of zero).

I'm not saying that this would be a good thing, I'm just saying that the idea that "more and more" immigrants will keep flooding into Britain forever until the counry is bursting at the seams is... well... it's not very realistic, is it.

tbh i honestly think that

1. Most people have no concept of the EU or what it is

2. Most people think this referendum is about leaving Europe - geographically speaking

My coffee table is made of metal,it wouldn't collapse no matter what or who I put on it.

Get the right things in place and prepare properly then virtually nothing and no one needs to be seen or presented as any burden.

Your first point is wrong Joey, because even the most massive of steel purlins and joists buckle under extreme weight, pressure and stress - 'Twin Towers', 'Ronan Point'.

Your second point is invalid, because not only has the UK NOT 'got things in place' and 'prepared properly' - we cannot even feed, clothe, house, or give proper medical and hospital services to our EXISTING population. Not to mention education, benefits and other services.

Additionally, we are a tiny island - not physically capable of accomodating unlimited numbers of additional people.

No one - NOT EVEN FARAGE - is advocating a total ban on immigrants, just proper control of both QUANTITY and QUALITY, and not even the most confused of 'Remain' supporters can find fault with that desire, surely.

I saw this.It definitely gave me a lol moment.Corbyn was more honest than any other remainiac i've heard. He was too honest though for his own good. This could make him quite unpopular with the remain element of the Labour party.Remain won't be happy with him at all.He is not being convincingly passionate enough for remain.

It made me laugh too Paul, but NOTICE how NONE of the 'Remain' camp on here have addressed the OP?

He is for me, I agree with him and his worries about remain or brexit with our current govt at the helm.
Can I say the remaniac was initially funny, but it's getting real old real fast.
