How do you spell SWAP/SWOP < What one is it, I was having a discussion with my teacher, she said its swop, but im sure its swap, and then I go on a couple of websites n they say Swap, and then other ones say swop. Help

It can be spelled either way.
Like Yoghurt and Yogurt.
There's just two spellings.

Yeah i've always spelt it Swap but i've seen people spell it Swop.

I used to spell it as swop until a teacher shouted at me for it! So now I always spell it as swap.

Was originally swap as it's etymology lies in the word "swappen", but swop is also a perfectly acceptable alternative.
