Let us hope it's not a TTIP type deal.

Of course they will when the dust settles, did anyone really believe it would go any differently?

tipp could easily be alive and well, it dependent on the views of the government in power and negotiating at the time. If we were in the EU it had no chance of going through as so many countries with a veto were against it. Now it only takes 1 person to be in power and thinks its a good idea

You know that for sure do you, it is dead as to the EU likely for sure.
Other Nations have had similar ttip deals crept in to deals with them and the USA.

You can guarantee the UK will not have to have anything like one.

I don't get why ya'll lot should be interested in a trade deal with the USA. The only things we can produce these days are McDonald hamburgers and American dollars which we create out of thin air thanks to the corrupt banking system.

BTW, not surprised at all that Obama is back-tracking on his back-in-the-line threat. But do you know what the funny thing is? Making this threat and it helping the UK leave the EU by back-firing is probably his only real contribution to human liberty in 7 years and it was completely by accident.

TTIP doesn't have to be a dangerous deal; it only becomes dangerous when all negotiations are cloaked in secrecy. Rather than being given the chance to put the plans under real scrutiny, until recently MEPs were only allowed to go to see the trade document in a closed room without making copies. Brexit can now call for more openness and transparency in order to ensure any trade deal with America is delivered for the public good. Its crucial we can scrutinize the blueprint.

Only with Brexit could the TTIP become a force for good and not a Trojan horse.
