The Australian Nine Network (the same network who revived BBAU) have acquired series 2 of Love Island. It'll air on 9Life (their version of ITVBe):

9Life will screen brash UK dating show Love Island from Tuesday night.

The series, in which overt singles pursue romance in Majorca and interchange their dates before being voted out by the audience, was revived by ITV in 2015.

9Life will screen the second season which premiered in the UK in May and recently concluded. A third season has since been approved.

In this reality dating game, a set of singles embark on an unforgettable summer of love, living in luxury and looking for romance while facing weekly challenges, secret hook-ups, scandalous revelations and new arrivals guaranteed to stir up the group dynamics.

The Love Islanders are in a race against time to couple up, as anyone left single will be in danger of leaving both their luxury villa and the attractive cash prize of Ł50,000 ($88,440) behind.

Watch in awe as the public play cupid, shaping eliminations and ultimately voting for their favourite couple to win – can they work out who’s in it for love or money?

The love Islanders’ temperatures will soar with the villa featuring an outdoor gym for the perfect display of buff beach bodies, plus a redesigned love shack for some extra one-on-one time for couples.

Host Caroline Flack will introduce viewers to this year’s Love Islanders and comedian Iain Stirling will add his dry narrations on all the events taking place in the villa over the summer of romance.

I finished catching up with the 3 weeks that I had missed.

Malin returning was so tense. I loved it. Her clocking Terry when she returned. And her cackling at the end when he walked off

Katie annoyed me a lot with the way she treated Sophie and pretty much turned the whole villa against her. It was her OTT reaction which eventually led Sophie to walk. And I felt really sorry for her and everyone was ignoring her in the villa. Her ugly **** of a brother slagging off Sophie when the family members came in on the last day

The new Adam was annoying.

Emma was just a horrible bitch and I've always hated Terry. Both have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'm glad they're hated and rightfully so.

I loved Kady and Scott. Kady was brilliant and she grew on me a lot. Her possessive fumes at Scott when he was contributing to the decision of which new girl should come in made me scream. I'm annoyed they finished 3rd place. They should've easily outlasted Alex and Olivia (both trash) and finished runners-up instead.

The Islanders I like most are Zara, Malin, Sophie, Kady, Scott, Cara, Nathan and Liana. Don't care about the rest.

It's no surprise really. Most beauty pageants including Miss GB are sexist in general.

Danielle Lloyd was stripped off her Miss GB crown because she posed nude in Playboy and now Zara is stripped off her title because she had sex on TV. It's like they promote the fact that a woman shouldn't be allowed to be confident with her own body/sexuality. It's pathetic.
