So I have a dilemma. A few days ago I got offered an in store assessment with Next for a stockroom job which is tomorrow but just today another Next has offered me the same for Monday. I can go to both obviously but the second one is a more convenient store to work in for me just in terms of location so I'll be torn if it goes well tomorrow and I end up getting a job offer before I've even had the second assessment. I'd like to at least try this second one out but I don't want to cancel the first one in case I end up not getting the second one and then having that what if in my head

I could try to see if tomorrow's can be rescheduled for a later day next week so I have my preferred one first I suppose

I just realised the final time anyone will be able to claim anything will be 18:57 (with 19:00 being the time off).

So with this hour being off as well (lol lucas and rob still trying to get points <3) that means you have 6 time slots remaining. The most any of you can get is 60pts.

That is of course providing there're no more rewards left

...I think that would be the first thing to try, to see if you're able to get the assessment tomorrow, changed to Tuesday or later...and see what happens on Monday to decide if you'll go...?../if it's not possible to change it, you don't have to accept it straight away anyway, you could still wait to see what happens on Monday first...

If it was me I'd probably do both and not reschedule anything, but if I got offered the job for the first one before having the second one... it depends, do you know when you'd actually start? Because you could always accept it, but then back out of it if you get offered the one you'd prefer afterwards. It's an inconvenience to them obviously but you have to put yourself first when job hunting and finding the right thing for you imo.

No idea on start dates yet but I'd imagine quite soon. And yeah the more I think about it the less I like the idea of rescheduling, I have some other things to get done afterwards tomorrow too so it's just convenient while I'm already out and about

I just hope I'd actually have a chance to go to the second one if I did get an offer and it wouldn't be a case of "Okay you start on Monday" but that's not likely

They're both brilliant opportunities for me though so I should be glad I've got two chances

I've actually realised tomorrow's isn't really much less convenient after all (and Monday's is for a Christmas job, the first might be permanent but I'd have to double check tomorrow) so dilemma solved, if I'm successful with these assessments I'll just go for the first one that gives me an offer
