I think she might of said it because with Gerry saying that, he could easily change people's minds about the winner by thinking someone needs the money.

Like with Craig in BB1 no one was allowed to know that he was doing it for his sick friend otherwise people would just vote for him (I don't think people knew anyway... I could be wrong).

Or maybe she could be anti-carole, I don't blame her

Yeah I agree. I think whoever wins Big Brother should win it for the fact they've been pure entertainment and funny to watch like Brian. I feel for Carole if she's got money problems but she can't just win because of that. It's not what BB is about
