This wasn't caused by refugee policies or open borders It was caused because the West just couldn't keep its fingers out of the pie.

We do not yet know the cause of this, we are still not 100% sure of the drivers identity and what the political motivation was. We know it was a deliberate attack, but we do not know why at this stage, all we have is speculation.

What is your solution to the problem, let everybody die in the sea, keep the refugees in lands where they are being bombed to oblivion with the full support of western governments? You think it's ok when the USA go in and murder innocent people, you say nothing about that, and when it creates a power vaccum and this happens, you still forget the responsibility our governments had in creating this.

How do you sleep at night ?

I find it particularly vile that there now appears to be some sort of psychology going around these forums, that Germany has asked for this.

Send them to the first safe country where they are supposed to go. But it clearly isn't just safety they want is it? How convenient that few supporters of mass migration mention this.

Do you seriously expect this little island to take in everyone who wants to come here? I think you need a reality check!

Do you sleep ok when people have died at the hands of people who took advantage of our ridiculous open door policy?

You can take the moral high ground all you like but we are not responsible for providing for the whole world.

This is as simplistic as it is blinkered, refugees cannot and should not all remain in one area, those who made decisions have to be accountable for the results of their actions.

As I stated in another thread our island mentality is what creates issues with people coming in, however it never extends in the reverse, we have no problem with us going wherever we please :/

We have made the decision that we want to take back control of our borders. What actions are we accountable for?

There is no comparison with skilled, educated people emigrating to countries where their skills are in demand to the taking in of masses of people who we know nothing about, many of whom don't speak English, particularly in these difficult political and economical times - no comparison whatsoever. Absurd comparison.

Control of our borders? that won't happen, we need cheap labour therefore a steady stream is required,

Of course it will happen. We can still get cheap labour at the same time as having control of our borders, we just won't have to let any Tom,dick , Harry or Isis supporter in.

Ridiculous comment. Germany is simply the victim of a politically correct government who cares more about political correctness than its own people, something it seems Merkel may live to regret.

Hopefully it'll be more like Canada and Australia. If you want to live there you have to have some skills to offer, they have to need you.

the islamic ideology does not fit into the western life of are society, and many muslims come from cultures that thighing of girls as young as six years old to men that are the age of 30 to 80 years old, and many of these girls get raped and have a baby before they hit ten, and many women get stoned to death just for cheating on their husbands, and many are killed just for talking to a boy, gay people are executed or killed by their families, just because they are homosexuals, muslim men see white girls as meat or fair game, the biggest hypocrisy of the left-wing and the feminists is that they curse western men and they blame others for the terrorism and mass rapes that have happened in the last year, but you don't get western men viewing muslim girls as easy meat or fair game even if they are wearing a hijab or dressed as a western girl, the pro refugee protesters had signs that said we want rapists over racists, and that is a huge insult to victims of rape and terrorism,
