Default BB Going on to long?

What time frame do you think bb should be? How many weeks? I think it has been going on for a couple of weeks too long and would of liked to of seen it finish a few weeks ago.

I think 13 weeks is a great length provided it isn't as mediocre a series as BB8 has been...

It's not the long duration that matters it is how they plan the series and also the public have a huge resposibility as to if a series works or not.

If the public go on treating a long run series as a game of skittles and knock down as many interesting/controversial housemates as soon as they can then each BB series no matter how long or short will fail to live up to expectation.

The reason BB interferes with the format so much is a failed attemt to stop the public sabatage of what was and could still be a brilliant TV format.

The fate of future BB's is mainly in OUR hands.......Wil we destroy it or have we already destroyed it.........Sadly to say the I think we have destroyed it byond repair...

Exactly. If we had a bunch of great characters and it finished in early August we would complain that it was too short. It's just becuase it's got boring because the housemates are boring. Well done public for voting out Shabnam, Seany and Charley.

I have found that Big Brother 8 has been a long show, in fact [very long]. It is mainly because of how boring certain parts were. From the beginning, it was basically the Charley show, full of those arguments and stuff, and when Ziggy came in and we thought things could turn interesting, it was still the Charley show. Then we had the outburst from Emily and that didn't last too long and after that, things became a little boring bit by bit, even though the arguments continued from Charley, it started to get annoying until most viewers just wanted her to go. But everything which followed her leaving just dragged on and the Half-Way house idea was stupid and some of the new arrivals were really rubbish housemates - hense being evicted so quickly, just after they came in. I think we need a Big Brother show to be split-up into two halves. [2 x 7 weeks each or something] a twice-yearly affair, so it takes up the same amount of time overall, but it happens - let's say? [March - April] & [October - November] I think it would work?

BB split into two series I think is a good idea worthy of a try by CH4.......I also think they should experiment with positive voting as opposed to a negative vote.......

I think they need to do something about the way hm`s are evicted its getting stupid now, voting out the best personalities early on makes for a boring house and thats what we got this year with the departure of shabmnam and seany within the first fortnight.
Personally i dont think what i consider to be 'good' big brothers should ever end lol.I loved last years and never wanted it too end, this year however im not that bothered although ill still miss it

I am sure that ideas such as these will be discussed, but it will be a waiting game for the fans and we rely on newspaper sources and that is always suspect. I would be interested on whether Virgin Media chose to pull out or not? That would make a real difference. A good sponser is essential
