It could be so good,

But im fed up of the editors making up stories lines and then the decisions the houseguest make dont reflect the storyline that they just built up.

Obviously, they are doing it for entertainment, and it is entertaining, but then its such a complete let down when it turns out the storyline was all fake and dramatised.

Yeah I agree. Why do they edit it to make it seem like something good is going to happen, but then it's all a complete let down when the live feeders know what's really going on. It damages the show long term because casual viewers will switch off for that kind of sh*t.

i haven't started watching it yet bc i hear bad reviews

i stopped watching last year's season half way through as i thought that one was terrible

the first three seasons were so good but i think i'm over it now

The Six have neutered this season's first half, all it would take is one larger move to tilt the house, but it's just not happening

It's not a great series but it's not that bad either, it's still better than an average or bad series of BBUK, and I enjoy the actual game of BBCAN so it's still interesting to watch even if people I like get evicted (although yeah it'd be much better if that didn't happen). There's still a lot of HM's I'm enjoying though, it's only really Kevin, Dillon, Bruno and Emily I don't like watching (and one of Dillon/Emily is going tomorrow anyway, so)

Ika is kinda to blame for the series being so bad. If she had balls it could have been so good, with such an interesting divide, a very bad casting decision sadly.

I must have missed that episode because all i've seen is someone diving head first into a showmance with one of the dullest dullards in the history of dullness.

She comes across like she's not in there to play the game at all but just to be on TV. She probably thinks she's gonna become wealthy, famous and successful without having any actual talent.

The last few episode have been good.

But if they had cass and gary in them they would have been a million time better

plus, why the **** and bruno and kevin still in there

I think the special power Neda won ruined the game because everyone assumes Neda would not have stayed safe without it when in fact she would still have been safe. It was too huge of an advantage.

Missing the first week of feeds didn't help.

BB didn't focus on the strategizing enough. They were too busy creating characters rather than letting characters emerge.

If interference is going to be so obvious, such as William finding the special veto, then be upfront about it. For example, occasionally former players come in to advise a player. It would have been hilarious if the newbies had been regularly getting tips from former vets without the knowledge of the vets on the show.

I don't like the have not thing. It isn't fun. It's grim because it's a week long. I want to seem them enjoying themselves more and not just by getting drunk. More crazy tasks and quests that lead to mini special powers. Wearing the boxing gloves until bedtime was fun.

Big brother has never been "fair" so own it and interfere more directly to stir things up if they are getting too predictable.

It's a poor man's BBUSA, even if that show isn't as good as it used to be it still runs rings around a show that doesn't know if it wants to be public voted or Housemate voted.

I disagree, BBCAN has differentiated itself to be unique, yes it follows the BBUSA's format but it has it's own twists and turns, it's also less producer driven than BBUSA.

I actually think BBCAN is better than BBUSA [As it is now] by far - although this season hasn't been one of my favorites, the last 5 seasons of BBCAN are far superior than the last 5 of BBUSA, and I'm pretty sure most fans will agree.

The pre game favorite was Neda and she has left.

As soon as the game actually began Cassandra and Gary were the favourites and then they left.

So I'd say the favorites have left.

Ika had a very small percentage pre game and was definitely not a favorite - a believe the top 4 in BBCAN favorite player voting for the viewers were Neda, Cass, Kevin, Gary with Bruno in fifth and some newbies even beating Ika Wong. So Ika only really became a favorite after both Cass and Gary had left, so I'd disagree.

In other seasons as well favoirtes haven't fared amazing, yes in BBCAN2 and 3 there were twists that involved BBCAN voting for a week, aka BBCAN HOH or Britneee getting a superpower, but that only effects the voting for a week.

With showmances making the top 5, there are plenty in the USA also, to name the memorable ones; Drew and Diane who made the top 3, Jeff and Jordan who made the top 5, Shane and Daniele who made the top 4. So it's not really different, Emmet and Jillian made the top 5 because they made it impossible for either one to be evicted for four of five weeks by Jillian winning constant HOH's and Emmet winning constant vetos. Neda and Jon weren't a showmance until after the show aired as Jon had a girlfriend, and Zach and Ashleigh who both didn't make the top 5 but made it far remained intact because of Bruno in the triple eviction using the veto meaning two more further houseguests would be evicted and then painted a target on his own back.

This season Demika have just played a good game, but they are being targetted

I find the casting in BBCAN more interesting and prefer the houseguests in general. They don't cast as awful people in general; for instance I've not seen anyone on BBCAN as bad as the last 5 years of houseguests of BBUSA; Andy Herren, Amanda, Aaryn, Spencer, Gina-Marie, Jeremy, Kaitlin, Frankie, Cody, Paulie are all probably worse than any houseguest cast on BBCAN of the past 5 years in terms of personality

I have definitely preferred BBUS. The casting is less vanilla certainly. The American version has also dabbled with public voting so I wouldn't say that's a reason to differentiate, in fact the Canadian one largely follows what the US one does. The one big different thing they did was bringing in ex-HMs from other countries, though even there Nikki wasn't a good choice.

The cast of BBUS being less vanilla is a remarkable claim. BBUS literally just picks young generic jerks in their 20s that you can find in any LA area bar, and then maybe one token gay person/black person/old person/whatever have you.
