that's what i meant too. She's pretty much a fan favourite and those passionate fans will not stop being passionate about her. It's like Adele/Ed Sheeran, they could not realise a song for 3 years and will still have those passionate fans to vote for them and would probably win.

Not really. If Adele doesn't release for a few years then she wouldn't have any material to qualify for any major awards.

But I get what you're saying. Maybe Lacey just shouldn't have been put on the long list of choices. But they probably see her as an easy way to get an award.

There's always awards on twitter for things. One Direction won a brit this year and because of voting and they haven't been together for like 18 months.
