But in reality, the fraction of BB viewers that were first love island viewers is tiny. BB has (had) a much wider audience that it should be using to its strength but instead it's driving older people away. They should be trying to differentiate themselves

I'm past caring whether we get 'normal' people or not. I'd rather just have a strong cast that will bring in the entertainment regardless. BB17's cast, bar one or two, could've passed as a really bad CBB line-up but it was still a pretty good cast and that's considered one of the best series by the majority on here.
