I was just thinking with the hiatus of BBCAN and just the decline of BBUK that maybe things like Netflix will be the future of BB? Like releasing the episodes live and having the evictions live on the platform or something. Even like partnering with the broadcaster to have the episodes/specials released on Netflix and the Eviction on the actual channel. I think this would really help rating and everything and also literally make it available worldwide and breathe new life into the show? I think China tried it out and it went fairly well, they released episodes on the Chinese equivalent to YouTubr and it was well received.

This can work, idk about the live evictions though, wouldn't that be a bit tricky?
Pretty little liars didn't rate that well on TV but it was immensely popular on Netflix worldwide Last edited by Gstar; 07-07-2017 at 05:44 PM. |

Big Brother was streamed online long before anybody had heard of Netflix. Indeed the internet is largely the reason it exists - and it's no coincidence in the countries where the streaming element has been dropped that the show has flopped. That's part of the reason it's been hitting record lows ever since it moved to C5.
