As was said before, the lower overnights usually have higher catchup numbers so I’ve still got hope for the next set of officials

There’s no point comparing BB to LI, ones been one for 17 years while rn he other one has been on for 3. Compare it to BB16 & BB17

Compared to BB16 & 17 it's bang in the middle right now. The former averaged 1.4 and latter 1.6m. We're currently at 1.5m officially, but overnight it's the lowest ever, even lower than 16 - but it seems that's just because people are choosing to watch on record rather than live, unlike BB16 where people were just choosing not to watch at all

No I’m happy with them, quite impressed tbh but if you read my post I said people shouldn’t be comparing it with love island, you should compare it with previous series of BB

Omg since Thursday beat the launch, if this series stays consistent do we think the final could beat the launch, for the first time since BB7? I think it’s definitely possible

Mon - 1.57 (1.32) +250k
Tue - 1.50 (1.00) +500k
Wed - 1.53 (1.01) +525k
Thur - 1.59 (1.10) +490k
Frid - 1.42 (1.00) +420k
Sat - 1.29 (0.83) +460k
Sun - 1.44 (1.01) +435k

So basically this series is having the same core audience as every other series those last few years. Give or take 100k, 1,3-1,5 million is what civilian BB gets nowadays.

As for LI, I'm planning on catching up on it since i haven't seen anything of it and I really want to know if it's worth the praise.

Exactly, the core audience of around 1.5-1.6m that 4/6 Channel 5 series have averaged is still there.

The gap is obviously terrible, but 0.9 at half 10 on a weekday for just a normal episode is actually quite good, it's the highest rating all week.. I hope that doesn't give Ch5 any ideas..
