Default Challenge: Help solve the mystery of Brian\'s win.

At the moment, I'm lost for an answer why Brian won.

I saw a poll thread on C4 forum this morning :"Should brian have won?". Unfortunately, there were only 44 responses. But of those, 38% said he should have won, 62% said he shouldn't.

So I took a look at Digital Spy. On their forum there is a poll started on 25th, 6 days ago. "Who do you want to win big brother?", with more than a thousand responses, which is a reasonable sample. 39.66% voted twins, 16.11% voted Brian.

And of course there is the sticky thread on this forum polling for the winner, with 1872 responses, which shows twins with 48.3% and Brian with 22.6%.

I've never seen a poll that shows Brian ahead any time in the last two weeks. So - what I'd like to do is find one. If you saw one, or can find one now, please post.

Oh my god. he won, GET OVER IT!

Its not a fix. He didnt have the forum-ers vote thats why no one on the internet is saying he should have won.

If they had fixed it(which i dont think they have) wouldnt they have made it less obvious by giving them closer percentages. They cant have fixed the crowds reaction when Davina read their names out either.

True.

Personally i didnt think this was a fix, but i do think the twins were more worthy winners.

Right, well as mysterious and trivial as this may be - I think the solution is:

HE GOT MORE VOTES

I think some people are missing the point. At the moment it looks to me that a winner has been produced who was not the favourite with the public - a long way short of it, in fact. If that turns out to be true, then many people will conclude that there is no point voting in future. I would say it's an urgent question, and I have no intention of "getting over it", until I'm satisfied about the answer. If Endemol expect people to continue shelling out large amounts of money on phone votes, they'd better find a way of reassuring people that the system is an honest one.

Yes it's quite strange but finally he won so the forums don't explain everything or don't show everything.

With your internet polls you're forgetting the thousands who didn't vote on the poll, but voted when it mattered.

I think he won fair and square...but it came as a shock, I put it down to 2 things....1 the voting figures were probably very low compared to previous years, so a last minute surge of Brian votes was enough to swing it, something that in previous years wouldn't have even made a dent. and 2. Twins fans apathy, we all thought they had it in the bag...so no need to vote like crazy for them.

I didn't bother voting in any internet polls but voted for Brian on the night, in terms of the number of people watching to those voting it's quite a difference.Look at the poll on DS from last year, Aisleyne was well ahead but only managed 3rd.

Question is : How?

I think many forum members are just airing suspicions that bookies placed block votes on the Essex lad , and to be fair , ita a completely plausabile theory.

And for the heck of it - I hope its true , as it will create controversy and a bit of entertainment. Both housemates were far from my favourites - so none of what I say is biased.

Not exactly thanks to the flaw in the Big Brother voting system that says people can vote as much as they want.

It was a fix, if the twins won it will be another racist story and BB producers sure dont want that.

There was a Sun poll on the internet which put Brian slightly ahead but drawing just before the evictions took place. Can't remember the link but it is on one of the threads here in the last couple of days. I voted on and it was 32% for both Brian and the twins....
