So that makes it a week longer than last series. I'm surprised they didn't extend it even more given its rating really well.

Yeah I get that. Tbh I'm fine with that length anyway, I don't think it should run as long as Big Brother, 6-7 weeks is perfect for a show like Love Island whereas BB should be around 9-10 weeks.
