But it makes no sense. The whole Weyland/Fi/Chairman/Josh side of the story hasn't even gotten going. It's all, 9 months in, still just ridiculously stupid hints at things and small scenes here and there and nothing substantial has actually happened.

So, given SOC's reputation so far I wouldn't be surprised if she is killed and it's supposed to be a major twist.

But, hopefully, there's more to that plot. SOC did hint that the Weyland stuff would come to a head and be the major Christmas plot for this year.
