Katie Price has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage four days before her recent separation from her third husband, Kieran Hayler.

The TV favourite appeared as a panellist on today's Loose Women alongside her mother Amy, who was recently diagnosed with a terminal lung condition.

Before Amy's appearance on the programme, Katie revealed to her fellow panellists that her recent spell of troubles started four days prior to her announcing her separation from Hayler, when she had a miscarriage.

Show host Andrea McLean later confirmed that, while the Loose Women panellists knew of Katie's miscarriage, it was not yet public knowledge.

Katie announced her impending divorce from Kieran Hayler last week after claiming he had an affair with their children's nanny.

The model decided to forgive her husband after he previously cheated on her, and even renewed their wedding vows earlier this year. However, this time around she is filing for divorce.

On whether she's worried about Katie dealing with her diagnosis while also coping with the breakdown of her marriage, Amy said: "Yeah, because I think I'm not going to peg off yet until I know she's settled."

Katie added: "You're not going to peg off anyway... I might peg off before you."

But Amy suggested: "I think, my god, it's about time now you actually got yourself together properly and took life more seriously and like, be settled, because you're getting older."

Katie revealed her mum's terminal diagnosis in a heartfelt social media message last week.

Speaking on the show, Katie said of the family's response to the news: "Because we don't show reaction, people think we haven't got a heart and that.

"We do. We're so close knit but because we've had so many dramas in life we've got this defence mechanism how we deal with it."
