Is the show actually ending and they're slowly writing everybody out?

Are they really working their way through all of the cast who have been there longer than 3 years?

Wow, this is the "acting-executive producer's" decision.

Maybe he feels Abi is better served bringing the baby up off screen for a few years before coming back. I'm inclined to agree tbh. Not interested in see her straggle about with a sprog.
