The Sun Online can exclusively reveal how the success of past winners Vicky Pattison and Scarlett Moffatt has convinced bosses to offer the former Geordie Shore star a place in this year’s camp despite being banned just a year ago.

“Charlotte has signed up to this year’s I’m A Celebrity,” a source exclusively told us.

“She’s nervous but so excited at the same time! She never thought she’d get a chance to go on the show because she thought they wouldn’t take her on because she’s done other reality shows like Big Brother.

“She’s been telling her family and friends all about it and can’t wait to get out there now. Bear has been supportive about it and thinks it’s a great opportunity for her.

“Charlotte is hilarious and she’ll be a brilliant camp mate. She’s not scared about getting her hands dirty in camp.”

“She’s seen the success of Vicky and Scarlett and wants to be the third Geordie girl to walk away with the I’m A Celeb crown.”

It comes after bosses banned her from appearing because she won Celebrity Big Brother, but following the success of Vicky Pattison and Scarlett Moffatt, they have reconsidered their decision.

Although I think the rule only applies when it suits. They've had Chris Eubank and Allison Hammond and would have had Jade Goody by now had she been alive. They signed Pete Burns up last year as well presumably before he died.

The only people they've had after BB are Chris Eubank and Allison Hammond. They were going to have Pete Burns last year too. Everybody else (Kerry, Pricey, Biggins, Nicola, Kim, Janice, Gemma, Danniella etc) did CBB after IAC.

I guess the young ditzy Geordie girl gets them good promotion and voting revenue to replicate it three years in a row. They'll start turning people away, however, since this will be the third time they've done it and I wouldn't be surprised if Charlotte doesn't win because people will vote for somebody else in backlash.

I don't think Charlotte has the likability of the previous Geordie girls tbh.

In comparison she's a pretty vile girl.
