Default The Shape of Water (Guillermo Del Toro film)

Quote:
THE SHAPE OF WATER - an other-worldly fable, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Doug Jones.

It looks interesting but Guillermo Del Toro's Hollywood projects are so hit and miss I hope this is a return to form.

I love Pan's Labyrinth and Devil's Backbone, the vampire film is okay too. I'm not so much of a fan of his Hollywood works, but I'll check this shizzle out. I saw on Twitter that it's better to watch it with little to no information beforehand, so I'll give the trailer and synopsis a miss for now - "made by Del Toro" is good enough for me <345

It's gotten quite a lot of nods at the Golden Globes.
