Default Week One - my thoughts.....

I was so worried I was going to be let down with this year's BB, compared to the fabulous viewing of BB2 last year.

How wrong I was. BB3 is absolutely brilliant in my opinion.

Once the housemates had settled in and their characters started to shine through, it was Jonny I found myself warming to. He is really making me laugh (his accent has something to do with it!).

I'm enjoying watching the possible love interests - Kate and Spencer, Lee and Adele and I'm wondering if Jade has a soft spot for PJ?

Highlights for this week that have made me laugh - Truth or Dare, line dancing, the kissing game, the absolutely hilarious sexual positions game, Alex's meeting, Spencer having toothpaste put on him while asleep, ..... I'm sure there's more.

Sunita's shock exit has obviously caused a stir in the house as did last night's first eviction. (I haven't warmed to Lynne so I was too disappointed that she's left). Jade's crying got me very emotional and I was crying along with her!!

So I wonder what the task will be tonight? The video is all set!!

I thought Jade was gonna flood the BB house with all that crying. She looked more put out then Lynne

There have been some good little 'games' going on that are fun to watch

Suppose you cant really write it off after one week.

I think it will get better when there are less in the house.

Hi Di

I'm glad you are enjoying it. I just wish I was. To me it really is a pale shadow of last year. I don't really like any of the people and I just find them sooo annoying. There isn't really anyone I've warmed to at all and I have watched an awful lot of it on E4 and webstream.

I hope it will get a bit better in a few weeks time when the numbers go down.

Hi LEE!!

Sorry to hear you're not so keen on this year's housemates. Pity. Yep, give it time I think.

Hubby and I have E4 for the first time this year and really enjoying using the live feeds.

I am giving it time, but last year I thought it was brill from day one - time didn't need to be given.

Its just there isn't one single housemate that I can relate to, none I would like to meet in real life.

Still I am persevering.

I love BB3 this year. I will admit that last years was better - I dont think any series will top it cos of the Paul and Helen thing.
But this year is fantastic - there are a lot more games and fun in the house and the group are acting together, last year there was small groups but now, its like one big group.

You have to admit that for one week, sooooooo much stuff has happened; Sunita walked, a surprise eviction, a new housemate possibility, arguments, romance!!
And today there was ALOT of tension in that house with Alex and Jonny - Big Brother is now beginning, its really kicking off!!!!:colou r:

But this year is fantastic
Sorry but that is definitely NOT a word I would use to describe it.

Tacky, Loud, Abrasive - maybe. Fantastic - no.

Last year I looked at it reluctantly and expected to be disappointed. In about 30 seconds I was HOOKED!!!

This year I looked at it hopefully and it was AWFUL!!!!!

I had to mute the sound to stick it for 30 minutes.

They are IMHO for the most part obnoxious and irksome

I don't care about any of them. I keep looking, hoping I will start to, but I just can't bear it.

I just want to

then wake up and find it is all a bad dream.

I am prepared to be proven wrong, but if they announced it was to end now, I wouldn't even blink. Sorry!

I'm moderately interested in this series. Not enough to ever watch E4 live coverage though, only the Channel 4 shows.

I thought that BB2 was one of the best TV shows I had ever seen so I was prepared to think that this one wouldn't be as good.
And I only got into BB2 in a big way around week 7 because of the romance.

It's still early days for BB3 but it looks to me that this is a much less mature group. And there doesn't seem to be a figure like Dean that has the respect of everyone.

The people in there now also appear to be much more competitive than before and think they can act in a certain way that will either make them popular in the house or make them famous outside of it.

However, I think even if there were no characters in the house that I actually liked I would still watch it.

I think that BB3 is really good! I can't say which is better, BB2 or BB3, but I like both a lot. Actually I think that BB3 is a bit more interesting than BB2, but I can't say if it's better yet.

Here again, after a long time...

It´s nice that they are showing BB3 in Finland now. It isn´t as interesting as BB2 was...(because there´s no Paul and Helen...)
