I had never heard of her, before hearing "Hometown Glory" being played on Radio 1 recently. Seems she has appeared on "Later with Jools Holland" and is touring.

Have a look at her myspace here, and take a listen to "Hometown Glory". It's amazing!

The song is great - I heard it on Radio One in Subway the other day and downloaded it at soon as I got home

Sounds a bit Kate Nashy though...let's hope she doesn't sing inane songs about nothing in particular.
