Even though Im in the US, Ive been an avid bbuk fan for years, and have regularly followed this forum. One thing that currently perplexes me is how there is absolutely no information regarding a start date, or what is really going on with the renewal negotiations, despite the fact that BB is a huge production with hundreds of people involved, let alone all the people employed by Ch 5, Endemol, etc. I would think that someone somewhere would post or leak some inside info, yet its been silence for months. How is this all kept under wraps and left only to mere speculation?

BB doesn’t get 5 million per night today. The last series averaged around 1.1 million, and some nights it even went below the million mark.
So nobody really cares... |

I get that BB is long past its heyday, but it is still on the air and there is still enough interest that the tabloids are constantly writing about it, look at the whole Brian Belo/Emma situation--who would expect that dolt to make headlines just for a series of tweets. While relative numbers have plummeted, 1 million viewers nightly, and 2 million for CBB is still enough fans that it seems someone somewhere who is invloved behind the scenes and does in fact care would and should share some inside info on the net.
