What's the story?

MI5 agent Derek Jennings (Hill) and his MI6 counterpart Emily Tuthill (Redgrave) launch a joint campaign with US counterterrorism operatives against an international network of Islamist terrorists. With maverick NSA agent Maren Jackson (Margulies) and FBI agent Max Canary (McDermott), they set out to disrupt a ferocious terrorist cell, bent on destroying the world's economic foundations.

From the moment a chemical bomb is accidentally triggered in a London hotel killing 19 people, the search is on to find the terror cell behind the plot. The Grid closely tracks the professional and personal lives of the American and British counter terrorists as they collaborate to prevent further attacks and disrupt the terrorist network responsible.
