TikTok influencer said her son was temporarily taken from her by child protection authorities after she posted a video of her husband pushing the child around while he was tightly wrapped from the neck down in cling film.
Savanah Glembin - who has 1.1 million followers on TikTok - appeared tearful in the video to camera following the initial incident that led to her son being taken away by authorities. 'Gunner (their son) has been taken from us until CPR (Child Protection Register) can evaluate our home because I posted a video of my husband and son playing,' she said. The initial video sparked concern from many who watched the short clip of the young child, who appears to be about two-years-old, tightly swaddled in plastic wrap and moved around by her husband Hank. Many TikTok users commented how they were left feeling uncomfortable and disturbed by the video which has now been taken down. However, user @auntkaren0 reposted the video, calling it 'feels like abuse'. The small child appears unable to move with both arms strapped down to the side. At one point the boy is placed standing on the bed before he falls forward onto his knees, unable to move his arms and constrained by the cling film. The father jokes: 'He's a worm.' 'If you have a grumpy toddler all day, this is the only way,' Glembin is heard saying in the background of the video. His father, in military uniform, then places the tightly wrapped child face down on the bed before being flipped over onto his back. User @auntkaren0, who reposted the video said: 'I don’t see what’s funny here. I don’t understand how putting your toddler in an uncomfortable position is funny and then posting it for views. 'Not only did you not just do this for your own entertainment, you thought this was going to be everybody’s entertainment. 'This is why I don’t like family channels like this, because they will go to any length for views.' https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world...e792e34b&ei=11 Thoughts? personally I think it was the right decision, the child is being exploited for views and at 2 wont have understood why he was wrapped in cling film and it cant have been a particularly pleasant experience for the mite
