Bailiffs take Jen's designer gear

BAILIFFS seized piles of designer gear from the home of Big Brother evictee Jen after she refused to pay her council tax for TWO years.
The haul included expensive Gucci trainers and posh handbags from Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton.

A Vivienne Westwood necklace was also confiscated during the raid at her former marital home in Co Durham.

The local council called in a recovery firm after the fashion-mad mum of one amassed almost £3,000 in unpaid bills — even though she recently signed a £100,000 magazine deal.

A close friend told TV Biz last night: “Even before she went in the Big Brother house she knew about the bill but she didn’t think it was her problem.”

The 22-year-old was not at home when a burly, bald worker from bailiff company Jacobs carried away the goods in large green plastic bag as neighbours in Chester-le-Street looked on.

Ex-husband David Clark, 24, was at the house, but was powerless to stop the debt collectors taking prized items away.

The gear was valued at £1,279.50 and the rest of the debt, which was in Jen’s name alone, has now been paid in cash.

The label slave had built up the collection from years of saving, and she will be devastated to lose the goods.

But her friend claimed brunette Jen, who was the third person evicted from the house, had been distracted by her new-found fame and relationship with fellow housemate Dale Howard, 21. The pal told us: “The celebrity lifestyle has obviously gone to her head.

“She has given up on her responsibilities since she left the house — she’s too busy jetting around with Dale.

“It’s shocking to not pay council tax for two years. She must have spent the money on designer gear instead of paying her bills.”

The news came as a shock to friends and family of the reality TV star, who has banked thousands since leaving the house.

Her biggest payday was for a magazine interview to tell all about her love for trainee teacher Dale.

The loved-up couple have been constantly seen out together since the house hunk was booted out earlier this month.

They have even been seen enjoying free-spending jaunts despite the tax bill — such as a romp on a yacht in Spain this week.

But all has not been smooth sailing, and the bailiff’s visit is the second blow to Jen’s newfound happiness.

Ex-hubby David upset Jen and her family when he claimed their marriage was not over, and that Jen was just using Dale to cash in for their future.

But Jen insisted her life with David is finished, and that her feelings for Dale are real.

And now she is expected to be deeply hurt by the loss of her precious belongings.

She is such a fan of ritzy labels that she even claimed on her BB profile that her life philosophy is “buy cheap, buy twice”.

She also boasted about spending hundreds of pounds on handbags.

The pal continued: “The bailiff took everything he could find that was worth anything. Jen loves her designer bags and jewellery so she will be gutted to lose it.

“But I guess when the cash from her magazine deals starts rolling in she will be able to replace everything.”

The seizure of Jen’s clobber is the second time a luxury-loving housemate has been hit where it hurts.

In June, the prized BMW of house bitch Alex De Gale — thrown off the show for intimidating housemates — was slashed by an angry viewer and had to be sold at a fraction of its value.
