Sorry, but it wouldn't! Come on - £50 000 in £20 notes? That's 2 500 notes. It isn't physically possible. It's a classic movie myth (that only I seem to have spotted). Sorry to blow it for everyone! All those movies where there's a million dollars in the case, eh? That's 50 000 notes in $20 notes, for example. It can't be done! God, I'm on a roll now. - Trapped in a lift? Sorry to worry you, but they DO NOT have an escape hatch in the ceiling!
