Carly Zucker's saved by medics from one of the world's deadliest snake

Petrified WAG Carly Zucker came within inches of a brush with death after unwittingly taking a shower with one of the world's deadliest snakes.

The I’m A Celebrity babe was washing in the jungle shower when the crew spotted something slithering towards her on a nearby rock.

On-site medic Bob McCarron rushed to the scene and instructed the jungle beauty to get out of the shower while he attempted to capture the deadly rough scale snake

“At this time of year, the snakes are mating and out looking for food – and they’re particularly aggressive,” revealed McCarron.

“The rough scale snake is the seventh most deadly snake in the world and it’s extremely dangerous.

“The snake has enough venom in it to take down around 100 men in one bite – and can kill an average-sized rat in less than two seconds.

“It’s so fast, it is able to get two to three bites to your leg before you even notice it.”

An insider said, “Carly was really shocked. She was just taking a shower when she was told to move away – but she couldn’t believe such a deadly snake was right there by her. The crew ran down as soon as they spotted it, but thankfully it didn’t bite.”

“It’s a miracle that no-one’s been bitten considering the amount of snakes we find in the camp,” adds McCarron.

“At night, we’ve seen loads of spiders walk over almost every celebrity when they’re asleep.

"We’ve had leeches crawl over them – and even snakes sliding their way across the celebs’ bodies.

"We zoom in with the cameras to watch the action but we won’t go in and do anything unless the creature is dangerous.”
