Jade's fortunes in reverse as Bentley repossessed

From bankers to Big Brother, it seems the credit crunch has no favourites. Diary hears the latest victim of the withdrawal of credit is one Miss Jade Goody, the star of at least two reality shows, hero in one and villain in another.

The Big Brother star has been climbing back up the popularity ratings recently through the dignified way she has been coping with a serious illness. But will the return to popularity and the riches it brings be enough to save her beloved motor, a Bentley Convertible?

Diary hears that her finance provider Lombard has started proceedings to get the car back from her.

"An instruction to repossess the car has been issued as a last resort because of the failure by Miss Goody to meet the terms and conditions of the contract we had in place," is what the RBS subsidiary said.

"I don't think she has the Bentley any more," is what her somewhat confused publicist told me, before calling back to say yup, quite right, but they are trying to sort it out.
