Alexandra Burke has criticised Mariah Carey, labelling her "stiff" and "reserved".

The X Factor winner claimed that Carey was a disappointment when she came to mentor contestants on the ITV1 competition.

Speaking to Metro, the 'Hallelujah' singer said: "I was a bit upset about Mariah, as I expected her to be full of energy and she wasn't. She was very reserved and stiff posed."

Burke previously expressed concern that she would sound like a "karaoke" singer when she attempted to sing a Mariah Carey track during the live shows.
