August 27th 2005 sees Brian presenting Ireland hottest free gig, O2 In The Park.

Brian and his co-presenter Fran Cosgrave - winner of the recent Celebrity Love Island - will introduce the acts at the big day out in Phoenix Park, Dublin, in front of a crowd of 100,000.

Organisers are staying tight-lipped about the line-up for the day, but last year top acts like Westlife, Girls Aloud and Brian McFadden played.

Brian said “I’m really excited because this is my first gig in Ireland and it’s lovely to be doing something at home.
I’m a bit nervous about standing out in front of such a big crowd but I’m sure it will be fine. I’m doing Party in the Park in Leeds this weekend so that should be good practice”.

The concert will be pre-recorded to go out at a later date on RTÉ.
