I am really getting into BB this year, I don't know why, maybe boredom, maybe something else, I really do not know. Whatever the case, I am very intrested in the development of this group.

I study Community Drama and a lot of what we do is about working with people and working with groups, it's great, I get to be a weirdo and no-one bats an eyelid, sometimes the course is a bit like BB in its own right.

Anyhow, I have always been dubious about certain housemates and their intentions and reasons for applying for big brother and their general cander within the group, sometimes the littlest thing shows character and personality.

That new girl today, I can't remember her name, the one who got the task first off. Well I think how she handled the whole situation (for me) showed her character better than any of (or most) of the character showing excercises in the house.

I really do not know how she has gone about implementing her task, but to be honest, for the normal, genuine and logical person, it was a no brainer!!!

What would you have done?

Well personally, I would have gathered the other 4 new housemates and I would have taken them into the room with the red seats and told them exactly what was said. Now I would have made this plainly obvious to the rest of the group and I would have not have tried to do it underhand, or the way BB wanted.

I would have then stated the obvious, at the end of the day, with the newhousemates, being... well new, surely it would have been fair for them to throw the sail against the wind and **** the scheming task off and reap the backlash of all being nominated and then use the rest of the week to let the chips fall where they may.

If a person is being genuine and being their own concious selves then what do they have to worry about? The public could only evict one person and at the end of the day if you are going to go into the BB environment, you have to be prepared to be judged for yourself and how you behave and aclimatize to life in the house.

Surely it isn't fair for people who have just entered the house to have the power and the audacity to think that they could simply scheme and sway opinions against the current housemates. Because in turn, they aren't just eluding and scheming against the two chosen housemates (is it noirin and freddy), they are scheming against everyone!

It really does give them a sword in a fight made of ice on a hot summers day. I know it can be seen as a sort of catch 22 situation, but unless you are in that state of mind to rock the boat, surely, surely this would be a no brainer.

I for one would rather be seen as being honest and just, than to save my own skin and ass by degrading myself to the level of a rat.

I mean, am I alone here? Is that not the right way to think about it?

Some people are just out for themselves and sometimes this program shows it, it really shows the inhumane and illogical side to people for me. Of course, authoritarian cohersion is a powerful tool, a tool which BB sometimes uses to their benefit, but being "Famous" can't delude people that much!
