Default My Rundown of the Top 24 (spoilers of the top 12)

BOYS

Joe: Great voice, punchable face. I find him really irksome, he's got a nice voice though and mothers will just love him.

Lloyd: He is Eoghan but prettier. If he wasn't as good looking he would not have got this far. I found his final performance to be merely okay. Without his looks he wouldn't have such a big fanbase.

Duane: I liked his performance, hated the fact he tried to create a sob story about where he lived. I like him but I can see why he doesn't get through.

Daniel: He's way too theatrical, he has got a good voice though but this is the wrong show for him. He should be hammering the doors down at one of the BBC's theatre talent shows.

Ethan: He's my favourite, He could have been a winner and I'm p****d off that he doesn't get through over the likes of Lloyd. His performance wasn't his best but he had real potential.

Rikki: Nice voice but bland as hell, He bores me.

My Top 3 after tonight
Ethan
Duane
Rikki (don't like him but I hated the others)

thoughts on the category
It's very hit and miss, unless they really pull out the stops in the live shows and surprise us I can't see someone winning from this catagory as they are now.

GROUPS
Something A: I can't think of their group name because I wasn't a fan. They aren't really anything special and that performance was crap.

Detour: ^

Miss Frank: I like them, they've got personality and they are quite interesting to watch. Their voices aren't the strongest and the rapping needs to be used more sparingly but I really like them.

Kandy Rain: They are the strongest group, they remind me of the pussycat dolls and if jealous women voters can get over themselves they could go far.

Harmony Hood: They are something different and I liked their performance. It wasn't the strongest but it showed personality and was different.

John and Edward: Utter sh*t. Disgusting little gremlins who make brilliant posterchildren for abortion.

My Top 3 after tonight
Kandy Rain
Harmony Hood
Miss Frank

There's no winners here, a group will never win the x factor because we never get to know them as well as the solo acts. There's two good acts in the final 3 though and I think if Kandy Rain can pull off good performances they could be the girl equivelant of JLS.

OVER 25's

Olly: I don't like him, he has a decent voice but there's something i just don't get about him. He'll be gone before week 5.

Daniel: I never really took notice of him but I really liked his last performance. I think he's very worthy of the top 3.

Treyc: One of the best performances. Her and Nicole blew everyone away.

Nicole: She's one of my favourites from this category, she reminds me a lot of Brenda from XF2. It's a shame she doesn't get through.

Danyl: I despise him, he's quietly arrogant and the way he tries to change his songs is commendable really but ultimately annoying. He's gonna be the surprise early exit of this series I think.

Jamie: He was a favourite of mine but I did go off him in Bootcamp. I really liked his performance though, no where near the strongest voice but he's got bundles of personality and likability. His style of music is different to other contestants as well.

My Top 3 after tonight
Nicole
Jamie
Daniel

It's the strongest overall category, I don't know if any will win from the category as most years it's been the younger contestants who have won. I think there is a potential winner or two though.

GIRLS

Stacey Solomon: I love her, she's got the voice, the personality and the likability. I think she could be a winner.

Stacey McClean: She reminds me of Mercedes McQueen. I do like her though, she's shown that she can do faster paced songs and she could have gone far.

Rachel: I like her a lot, powerful voice and a great presence. She could be a dark horse.

Lucie: I'm not a fan, the nuances in her voice means that she will only ever be able to sing slow songs well. She's rather limited and I find her bland.

Despina: I like her, her performance wasn't the greatest but she could have become stronger if she got through.

Nicole: What a mess, She can't handle it so I'm not surprised she doesn't get through.

My Top 3 after tonight
Stacey Solomon
Despina
Rachel

Along with the Overs, they are the strongest category. I think the winner is somewhere in there.

WHO'S GONNA WIN?
One good thing about this year is that there isn't any overly favourite contestants to win. The only category that doesn't stand a chance is the groups. Putting my own thoughts aside and judging from who's likely to vote and stuff here's who I think could win.

Stacey Solomon
Rikki
Lloyd
Lucie

The overs are the strongest category but I can't see any of them winning. Stacey and Lucie are typically the kind of singers that X Factor viewers typically love and Lloyd will get the girl's votes for his looks. Rikki reminds me of Leon and could be a dark horse. He'd be a cr*p winner though.
