I just think wrestling is a load of juvenille, farcical nonsense. Thats all. If thats being pretentious then so be it!

I'd be more convinced of you being pretentious because of stuff like the first two lines of that post. I do know what I'm talking about. After all I've watched 'rasslin for eleven years and have invested a stupid amount of money into it.
Thinking it's farcical or whatever is fine.
I think it's farcical. That's why it's so brilliant. It's like Jersey Shore or something. Difference being wherther you want to admit it or not it takes an extraordinary amount of talent to pull off. The lifetyles the lads have to lead on the road is very rough on their bodies and it takes genuine talent to put together an exciting match full of tension and flow. Wrestling fans can tell the difference between a crap fake fight and a great one and they'll let you know about it.
I just don't see the need to strut into the thread grandstanding and pointing out the obvious, then trying to get out of it with your tail between your legs when your 'it's fake' argument didn't work as well as you had initially hoped. We watch it
because of all the so called negatives you are pointing out.
I suppose you'd have to be a fan to realize how hysterical pointing out to people the fallacies of how certain wrestling moves wouldn't work in a real fight but it doesn't do you any favours.
Hate on Die Hard all you want. But it gets a bit much when you feel the need to point out to people that it sucks because Bruce Willis isin't really a police officer.
