I can't make out if he's just brutally honest with her, if he has her back or what? 'm confused.
 Nothing he says to her is designed to make her feel a bit better it's just always brutal honesty. lolHazel " can somebody explain to me why i'm a snake " Dan "condescending tone and stroke " aw I don't know you're just a snake...for some reason" Hazel "I'd rather go on friday if this is how people want to treat me" Dan "I'd go too if I was you" No aw Hazel comeon don't let it get to you or anything lol. Plus he seemed to have a glint when he hugged her after they called her the other thing on the couch can't remember what it was.
