Default Only Fools and Horses to return with new sketch for Sport Relief

Quote:
Only Fools and Horses is to return as part of this year's Sport Relief.

The classic BBC comedy will make a comeback with a short sketch to be featured during the charity event from Comic Relief. More details are to be confirmed.

The sketch would mark the show's first material since creator and writer John Sullivan passed away from viral pneumonia in 2011.

Sullivan is said to have had hundreds of ideas for Only Fools' return and his sons, Dan and Jim, have been working on bringing their father's ideas to life.

David Jason, who played Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter, recently described a new script as "very good".

In December 2012, Jason revealed that Sullivan had planned to centre a new episode of Only Fools around Del Boy's 65th birthday.

"The idea of it was Del's 65th birthday," he said. "That was his premise. There was nothing else said. He just wanted to know what I felt. Well, I know Sullivan. I know how he wrote.

"I just said, 'John, you write it and I'll do it.' I know all of the rest of the team couldn't wait to get back."
