Default They want to kick my Emma out in secret!

HOUSEMATE Emma's mum last night blasted Big Brother bosses over her daughter's "disgusting" treatment as they secretly plotted to kick her out.

Karen Greenwood, 42, was sent a car to whisk her from her home by show bosses after being told Emma was to be booted out.

The 20-year-old has been in the show's bedsit since her bust-up with rival housemate Victor early on Thursday.

And her mum was furious to be told last night producers had a secret plan to sneak her out a back door while Victor stayed in unpunished.

She even threatened to sue over her daughter's treatment.

Karen stormed: "It's absolutely disgusting. She's been living in a bedsit on her own for almost three days and now they're going to kick her out.

"She's had nobody to talk to and has been left in there to get more and more stressed.

"It's like mental cruelty. She's going to leave by the back door and nobody's going to know about it.

"She's been saying she wants to forgive and forget and sweep the row under the carpet.

"But they're going to kick her out anyway - I'm disgusted with the show and the producers."

The angry mum, who works with her daughter at a legal firm, added: "I'm even considering suing. They shouldn't treat a human being like this."

A taxi was sent to Karen's home in Chadderton, near Oldham, to pick her up so she could see Emma when she leaves the house.

TV chiefs cancelled last night's eviction with hours to spare but Karen was only told of her daughter's fate less than an hour before a taxi was sent to take her to the studios.

She was outraged Victor, who threatened Emma in the big row, appears to have got off scot-free.

She said: "While Emma wants to talk about it, Victor's been in the garden gloating.

"Big Brother wanted to get them together to discuss it but he's refused. Now he just thinks that he's won.

"All this after threatening a woman. What message does this give to men who are violent towards women?

"He's the one that should be out, he's just a bully and she was just sticking up for herself."

And she insisted: "We're very close, and I've never seen her be violent in her life."

But last night confused programme bosses appeared to back-track on earlier claims to Karen they would throw her daughter out.

As she sped down the M1 to the house Karen said: "This is utter confusion and ridiculous. If Emma's not being thrown out why am I being driven all the way down there to be reuinited with her?

"I am really unhappy about the way I am being treated - the latest they have told me is they are 'not sure' if Emma is being thrown out."

As she defiantly defended her daughter, Karen also told how Emma was a teenage tearaway who dabbled in drugs and crime - but she was saved by her mum's love.

Her dyslexic girl was bullied at school and fell in with a notorious Manchester gang as she struggled with her studies.

She stole her mother's car and went joyriding at 15.

Karen had her arrested to "teach her a lesson" and her daughter was given a caution by police. In a bid to protect her from "the wrong crowd" Karen packed her off to the job in Spain.

But even then Emma was sacked for smoking drugs.

Not to be put off, Karen sent her daughter back to Spain, where she worked in a bar.

And six months later Emma returned a reformed person.

Karen said: "She got a job in a bar and came back feeling like she'd achieved what she'd set out to. She's been different ever since."

Emma went on to work at the legal firm where Karen is a manager for two years before going on Big Brother.

The relieved mum said: "I don't know where she'd be now if I had just let go. She would have probably gone down a very risky path.

"Luckily we stood by her and now we're so close. She's still as daft as a brush but has matured into a beautiful, loving and caring young lady."

Emma has pleaded with Big Brother house to be let back into the house, saying: "I just want to make friends with everybody and apologise for everything."

But Karen saw no need for her to say sorry.

She explained: "I know she was involved in the bust-up but she was only sticking up for herself. She really hates bullies after everything she's been through."

The furious mum, who earlier opened her family album for the Mirror, added: "I can't believe they're treating her like that. The whole thing is outrageous and unbelievable."
