Ellie Goulding has released her brand new single and fans will be pleased to hear that it's a big one.

The star will put out 'Army' as the third official cut from her forthcoming new album Delirium, which is released on November 6.

The track starts off as airy guitar-pop before launching into a soaring serenade not too dissimilar from her Fifty Shades Of Grey hit 'Love Me Like You Do'.

'Army' was co-written by Ellie along with hit-makers Max Martin, Savan Kotecha and Ali Payami.

It serves as the follow-up to recent single 'On My Mind', which was released back in September and peaked at number five in the UK and 19 on the US Hot 100.

Goulding's third studio collection Delirium will also feature recent promotional tracks 'Something In The Way You Move' and 'Lost and Found'.

Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding will take to the X Factor stage in the UK this Sunday (November 1) to perform on the first live results show of the series.
