From The Sun:
CHANELLE Hayes insists she has put life as a Posh Spice lookalike behind her — and wants to launch her own showbiz career. The stunning student, 19, has already been offered a megabucks modelling deal. And she admitted her time on BB has changed her view on her idol Victoria Beckham. She said: “I still think Victoria Beckham is brilliant. “But now I’ve been given the opportunity to create as much of my persona as I can and that’s what I want to do.” She claims she has ditched dreams to join the shallow WAG set she spent so many years wanting to be part of. She added: “I definitely don’t want to be a part of the pretentious lifestyle I thought I did. And that’s really good.” Chanelle, who hopes to study languages at Leeds University after her A-levels, also lashed out at show rival Charley saying: “We’ll never see eye to eye.” She said she doesn’t hold a grudge after the pair rowed constantly in the house. But admits she NEVER wants to see the lapdancer again.Chanelle said: “She had a massive effect on me. “I don’t like to think that people could affect me as much as that person did. “She probably came across worse than she actually is because everyone’s personalities were exaggerated in the house. And I don’t hold any grudges against her. "She’s probably really nice but we didn’t see eye to eye.” She vowed to avoid Charley as the two gear up to hit the celebrity circuit, saying: “If I came across her in work we’d chat and be civil but we’re not each other’s cup of tea really.” Chanelle said she was glad she quit — after revealing yesterday that she feared she would go MAD by staying. She said: “I think I did the right thing. I’m sad to leave a few people, but I’m happy I walked because I think it was the best decision for me. Ziggy was part of it, my family was part of it. “I didn’t think I would be there for more than two weeks, but I was there for eight-and-a-half so I hadn’t prepared myself for that — maybe I should have done. “But I’m really happy to be out — I’m really having a fun time, I’m getting to see my family and friends and things.” She added she will miss Brian, the twins and Gerry the most. “I forgot to put Gerry on my goodbye letter and I can’t believe it! I’m gonna have some grovelling to do when he gets out, I really wanted him to be on that letter. “I quite like Tracey as well, she’s nice. Liam and Carole are OK but we didn’t ever really speak that much. “But the twins, Brian and Gerry to go the furthest.” Asked to name her favourite BB moment, she said: “There were so many! Not the violin or fish task — eugh! "I loved baking with the twins and just having fun times with them. Me and Brian had a chat the other night and it really cheered me up. “And Gerry making me laugh. But getting in the house was the best part of it!” |
