McFly’s Danny Jones is all set to join will.i.am on the panel of The Voice Kids when it airs for the first time next year.

The singer and guitarist, 30, is in advanced talks to appear in the Saturday night ITV show when it hits the screen next spring.

One insider said: “Danny has 13 years of experience touring and making albums with a successful band.

“He is perfect for The Voice – he’s someone the young contestants will really relate to.”
