SUNITA TO LEAVE THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE AT 7PM ON THURSDAY


SUNITA, will become the first housemate to walk out of the Big Brother house when she leaves later today (Thursday 30 May 02), after just 7 days in the house.

Sunita will leave the house tonight at 7pm. E4 Viewers will be able to watch Sunita’s departure live on Big Brother’s Little Brother (E4 7pm). BBLB viewers will also be able to witness Sunita’s first interview as she talks to BBLB presenter DERMOT O’LEARY. The show will be repeated on Channel 4 tonight at 11 05pm.

25-year-old Sunita, a trainee barrister from South London, shocked her housemates yesterday evening (Weds 29 May) when she told them of her decision to quit the show. She said, “I’ve asked to leave. It’s not a spur of the moment decision and it’s not a reflection on anyone in here.”

Speaking earlier this week Sunita had also said “I think I was a bit naïve coming in to the house and perhaps I didn’t really think about what I wanted when I came in. I’m getting really claustrophic being in the same rooms, doing the same things. I like to be the life and soul of the party, but this isn’t really my party, it’s not really my bag.”

Sunita will be replaced with a new housemate. Big Brother will announce details of their identity and when they’ll be entering the house in due course.

The eviction voting number for Sunita has now been closed. Friday night’s surprise eviction will still go ahead as planned.

Sunita is the first ever person to leave the UK version of Big Brother of her own accord. Participants in the first series of Big Brother in Holland, Denmark, Argentina and Portugal also decided to leave the house.
