Fans slate BB star
Quote:
Brother bighead Jason Cowan has snubbed the Rangers fans who backed him.
The Ibrox faithful voted in their thousands to keep the perma-tanned poser in the BB5 house after he claimed to beone of them.
But now Jason, 30, from Motherwell, has rejected a VIP invite to Ibrox for next weekend's clash with Inverness Caley Thistle.
And last night, the fans whose support won him the runner-up spot on the show were furious at him.
Peter Robertson, from Whiteinch, Glasgow, said: 'He was happy to cash in on being a Rangers supporter when it meant staying in the house for his 15 minutes of fame.
'But now the chips are down, he does a runner.
'Some guys would give anything for the treatment at Ibrox on match day but clearly it's not good enough for a Z-list celeb. Who does he think he is?'
Jason's agent Karina Trimmington said yesterday: 'Jason was offered tickets for the game but he has decided against it.
'He will be in Scotland that weekend but he's having to dash away.'
Jason is understood to be making a few hundred pounds for appearing at two nightclubs during his trip to Scotland.
He will also face Record columnists Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove on their Off The Ball show on BBC Radio Scotland.
Tam, also from Motherwell, is keen to stress he's not related to Jason, despite the shared name.
