'I'm in love with two women': I'm A Celeb's Marc in tears as he reveals his true feelings for Cerys Axed I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Marc Bannerman has claimed he has "fallen in love" with with fellow camp-mate Cerys Matthews in the jungle.
Booted out of the show on Wednesday night, the former EastEnders star was in tears when he realised his relationship with actress Sarah Matravers, 32, was hanging by a thread, claiming he was "in love with two women."
The star also believes Cerys is in love with him. When asked if she feels the same way, he said: " Yes. I think she's in love with me too."
The 34-year-old actor said he hoped he would be able to support former Catatonia frontwoman Cerys, 38, when she comes out of the jungle to face the music.
Bannerman said he regretted hurting his current girlfriend but had no regrets over his time in the jungle admitting: "I regret hurting someone badly. I really regret that, but I don't regret anything else."
"I felt like I was betraying my partner and I was. Not in the overtly physical sense but mentally you know.
Matravers had stormed home from Australia back to London in disgust at his flirting and growing closeness with the Welsh singer.
He blamed his actions on being "a bit self absorbed", but admitted he had behaved in an "inappropriate way" and that he was unable to control his feelings for Cerys.
Marc added: "It was just kind of getting to the situation where it was becoming more than just friends, you know, in our behaviour there was a lot of flirting going on and I realise as I was doing it but I couldn't help it."
"I said to Cerys at one point I just can't behave like this, but I think by that time it was just too late."
Bannerman is planning on flying home to resolve the situation with Sarah but made no mention of whether he would be staying in the relationship alluding to a possible break-up.
He added: "I've got no alternative but to get back to London. Things have to be discussed and resolved either way so I owe it to her to face her.
Hours before Marc's eviction, Sarah taped an interview for the ITV show, explaining her decision to return to London.
She said: "It's been extremely painful to watch the man I love disrespecting me and our two and a half year relationship in front of the nation with a woman he's known for a week.
"It's torturous really. I've had enough. It's really hurtful and painful to watch."
"I'd love to be able to forgive him but I'm so confused at the moment. I'm shell-shocked to be honest, so I need to get home."
Marc and Sarah met on the set of Footballers Wives: Extra Time in 2005 and share a home in London together.
